-1. George Huff: Wow I love george. Doesn't get any better than that. He came incredibly, disturbingly close to improving on one of the best vocal performances of all time. So excellent. Beyond excellent. Go George, go. Wow.
-2. Fantasia Barrino: Wow has she got an amazing voice. Amazing performance, and she just tosses it off like nothing, effortless. It probably sounded just that good the first time she sang it. Simply amazing. And amazing. Almost a bit... amazing. And ya can't go wrong with Stevie.
-5. Jennifer Hudson: Outstanding voice. Tons of power, but tons of control to match it. Not much else to say, great job.
-6. LaToya London: Blah, really didn't like this song at all. Decent performance, definitely better in the higher octave. Beginning was a bit shaky, and she was running out of breath at the end, but everything in between was solid. Good. (The judges certainly liked it more than I did...)
-3. Diana DeGarmo: Wonderful performance. Excellent, high energy, wonderfully sung. Couldn't quite reach a few of the low notes, but no biggie. As a sidenote, really liked her hair that way, cute.
-8. Jon Peter Lewis: Alright, the dancing's cool and all, but not when it starts affecting the singing. It also felt really forced this time, like he was only doing it cause it worked last time and why not. Meh, it wasn't terrible, but not particularly good either...
-4. Jasmine Trias: Simply excellent. Just a couple of minor pitch mishaps, but even they were quickly smoothed out mid-note. Very very nice.
-7. Matt Rogers: Good performance, lots of energy and attitude. The singing was pretty safe, didn't really put too much into it. Safe, albeit good, performance.
-11. Leah LaBelle: Meh, it wasn't great, but certainly not as terrible as Simon thought. Really don't get the song choice, there are so many excellent soul songs that would have fit her perfectly, but that song was really empty. Just not much to it, vocally. Meh.
-10. Camille Velasco: Beginning was definitely a bit low on her, and I'm not sure she ever quite recovered from that. It was ok, but nothing really special. The intro package, as well, was INCREDIBLY empty, bored the hell out of me. Meh.
-9. Amy Adams: Wow, that dog noise she did in the intro was really awesome! Then an alright performance. She's got a really soft, sweet voice most of the time. Can get a bit pitchy in her upper range, but good nonetheless. A'ight...
-12. John Stevens: ... I can't listen to this guy anymore. It was ok once, alright twice, and now I'm just bored nearly to death. He's pitchy, dull, and blah. As for the 'you can't compare them, they're different artists' bull, it's just that, bull. You sure as hell can compare, he sucks, the rest don't. Blah. I agree with Randy. And he sucks, and I don't like it, and I'm done.
